The "Shifter Toggle: 1" selects between odd-numbered gears (1,3,5,7,9,11) and even-numbered (2,4,6,8,10,12) gears. Range-Splitter transmission. This configuration tries to emulate a layout of a real Scania H-shifter. Note that the game does not simulate the second reverse gear nor the two crawling gears so corresponding positions are not used.

Their take on the range switch is interesting, but again, not true-to-life. For the price that I've seen, Simu-Shift is about $105 on Amazon, $95 on ebay. The SKRS shifter from CSIO is $110 direct from CSIO, which is only $5 to $15 more than the Simu-Shift product.

Thing is the game does detect the hardware. When I am in the options and select each gear the game records them and adds them in. It even says T500RS gearstick at the top.
I just bought a Fanatec Clubsport v1.5 shifter and I cannot get the shifter to map. I've seen where people have had conflicts with other controllers plugged in but I don't have anything else plugged in other than mouse and keyboard. In the driver software it shows my shifter is working, gear selection is detected.
I've upgraded my scania with 12 + 2 transmition and now my splitter settings are messed up. Before it went 1/3/5/7/9/11 split 2/4/6/8/10/12. So I didn't miss any gears and could jump gears whenever needed. But now it goes C1/2/5/8/11 split 1/4/7/10/12. Notice that 6th gear on shifter does not work - just stays neutral. Reverse works fine with R1 and R2 split.
